Praise To The Lord!
We have recently passed the $1000 mark in our fundraising endeavors! We thank The LORD Jesus for His giving people, and we say thank YOU for donating to the mission project!
This just the beginning.
Now that you have donated to the project, won't you join us in spreading the word about the mission. Please tell your friends and family members we are still looking for medical and non-medical missionaries to join the trip. We are also still accepting donations and supporters for the mission. If you haven't donated as yet, or if you want to be a fundraising supporter, please go to our donation page here. Once again, 100% of all funds raised will be used for the short-term and long-term goals of the mission. Thank you (Asante) and let's keep on rallying for Pokot!

Bringing Healing
"And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people.
And his fame went throughout all Syria: and they brought unto him all sick people that were taken with divers diseases and torments, and those which were possessed with devils, and those which were lunatick, and those that had the palsy; and he healed them." (Matt 4:23-24)
And his fame went throughout all Syria: and they brought unto him all sick people that were taken with divers diseases and torments, and those which were possessed with devils, and those which were lunatick, and those that had the palsy; and he healed them." (Matt 4:23-24)
Christ understood mankind. He understood before He could heal mankind spiritually, He needed to heal us physically. The LORD spent more time healing and restoring people than sermonizing. He knew that He could grasp the attention of the people and direct their minds to His Heavenly Kingdom if He gave sight to the blind, voice to the dumb, strength to the weak and hearing to the deaf.
We want to continue in the path that Christ has laid for us. We want to bring healing and hope to the people of East Pokot this July. And not just for this year, but for the years to come. Would you prayerfully consider donating to our mission by going to our donation page. Any amount will be appreciated as all funds will go to the project.
Wherever you go today, bring healing with you.

A Little Goes A Long Way
Christ saw the multitude before Him and knew of their need. In the same way, we too see a multitude before us, and we know the needs of others. The task may seem daunting, and we may look at our meager donations and think it cannot do any good for so many, but Christ is encouraging us to use the means and the times we have to feed His people. We will be embarking on our $5-for-days campaign this week! Please join us in raising funds for the mission. Your $5 can go a long way in alleviating the needs of perhaps one or two individuals. Please prayerfully consider helping today. Our fundraising website is Rally for Pokot Mission.

Christ's Labor For Souls
As we study Christ's method in reaching souls, we are encouraged to follow in His footsteps and do the same.
In the book, Acts of The Apostles, it says "The Saviour went from house to house, healing the sick, comforting the mourners, soothing the afflicted, speaking peace to the disconsolate. He took the little children in His arms and blessed them, and spoke words of hope and comfort to the
weary mothers. With unfailing tenderness and gentleness He met every
form of human woe and affliction. Not for Himself but for others did He
labor. He was the servant of all. It was His meat and drink to bring hope and strength to all with whom He came in contact. And as men and women listened to the truths that fell from His lips, so different from the traditions and dogmas taught by the
rabbis, hope sprang up in their hearts. In His teaching there was an
earnestness that sent His words home with convicting power."
We are still looking for missionaries to help labor for souls. Please pray, donate or register with us today!

Brotherly Love
An excerpt in the book Ministry of Healing says, "Christ recognized no distinction of nationality or rank or creed. The scribes and Pharisees desired to make a local and a national benefit of the gifts of heaven and to exclude the rest of God's family in the world. But Christ came to break down every wall of partition. He came to show that His gift of mercy and love is as unconfined as the air, the light, or the showers of rain that refresh the earth.
The life of Christ established a religion in which there is no caste, a religion by which Jew and Gentile, free and bond, are linked in a common brotherhood, equal before God. No question of policy influenced His movements. He made no difference between neighbors and strangers, friends and enemies. That which appealed to His heart was a soul thirsting for the waters of life. He passed by no human being as worthless, but sought to apply the healing remedy to every soul. In whatever company He found Himself He presented a lesson appropriate to the time and the circumstances."
This July, please join us as we seek to bring healing remedies to our brothers and sisters in East Pokot.
