Pray For and With Us!

We are excited to be working on our next mission trip to Pokot!!!

"Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest." Luke 10:2 (KJV)

As we plan, we solicit your prayers at this time. Please pray that the LORD will send 'laborers' to work in His Field. Perhaps you may be prayerfully considering joining us in July. We would love to have you!

Please also pray that we receive continued support from the local church and community leaders in Kenya, and for generous donations to help fund the mission.

If you believe The LORD is calling you to be a laborer in His Field, or if you would just like to receive updates on the mission, email us at pokotmission@gmail.com. We look forward to hearing from you.

May God bless you and continue to let your light shine wherever you are.

A Work To Be Done

Happy New Year, and Welcome back to The Pokot Mission Project!

Our work and passion continues for the people in Pokot. Read was Ellen G. White wrote in the book, A Call To Medical Evangelism:

"The work of gathering in the needy, the oppressed, the suffering, the destitute, is the very work which every church that believes the truth for this time should long since have been doing. We are to show the tender sympathy of the Samaritan, ... feeding the hungry, bringing the poor that are cast out to our homes, gathering from God every day grace and strength that will enable us to reach to the very depths of human misery and help those who cannot possibly help themselves. In doing this work we have a favorable opportunity to set forth Christ the Crucified one."

Our next mission trip will be in July, 2015. Please visit our Mission Trip 2015 page for more information. We hope you can join us this year to help in alleviating the pain of others.
